West Midlands police have confirmed a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of encroachment on to the pitch and assault on Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
Grealish was punched at the back of the top through the Second Metropolis derby in opposition to Birmingham at St Andrew’s and the person has remained in custody for questioning.
