Liverpool have urged anybody with details about an alleged racially motivated assault on Shamal George to come back ahead.
Merseyside police are investigating the assault on the membership’s youth goalkeeper, who sustained facial accidents.
The 21-year-old’s brother, Lioyed, can be understood to have been injured within the incident, which occurred in a metropolis centre bar at round 1am on Saturday morning.
Police are analysing CCTV footage of the assault on George, who spent the primary half of the season on mortgage at Tranmere.
